Balenciaga and Adidas partnership. The iconic brands debuted their joint efforts at Balenciaga’s resort 2023 runway show in New York City, and it was instantly made shoppable via Balenciaga’s website.

The 33-piece collection seamlessly marries Adidas’s signature triple-stripe motif with Balenciaga’s voluminous silhouettes. From bulbous sweatpants to chunky sneakers, it’s a match made in high-street fashion heaven that’s sure to sell out. The roster of collectible designs also serves to commemorate the unforgettable showcase (when models took over the New York Stock Exchange’s trading floor for the first time ever wearing latex, face-covering bodysuits) with an NYSE T-shirt.

Balenciaga has dropped their own collaborative collection, complete with a co-branded Triple S as well as a host of athletic apparel. While the above-mentioned silhouette was teased months prior, it was only a taste of what’s to come, as the German sportswear brand has teamed up with Balenciaga for a much larger range of options.

Besides the shoes, there’s a series of track jackets and matching pants, all customized with an overfit characteristic of Demna’s work. Moreover, tees, leather blousons, and even ripped denim shorts add to an already extensive offering. First in footwear, the Triple S has arrived in not just a black and white colorway but also a blue-dominant alternate. 

Both feature classic adidas signatures, with the Three Stripes adorning the side and the Trefoil the heel tab. Elsewhere, the rest of the shoe is true to the high fashion brand’s design, keeping intact what became so beloved throughout the years. Additionally, the two have teamed up for a simple rendition of the Speed Trainer, whose collar has been dressed with Three Stripes detailing and the collection’s co-branded logo.
