Burberry has appointed its first female ambassador from South Korea as the British luxury fashion house continues its focus on widening its exposure in Asian markets.

Actress Jun Ji-Hyun joins its growing list of celebrity ambassadors from key Asian markets. She's appeared in several successful films including The Thieves and The Berlin File, and her most notable projects include Netflix zombie thriller Kingdom: Ashin of the North and Assassination – which was the highest-grossing Korean film of 2015.

“It is a great honour to be announced as Burberry’s ambassador,” said Jun. “Burberry is known as a brand with a rich history and traditions and aims to innovate in line with our ever-changing times, which is what I am trying to convey to the audience as an actor.”
