Japanese minimalism meets Italian elegance: Ceccotti’s new Obon Pendant
Italian artisan Ceccotti Collezioni's latest lighting design, Obon honours Japan’s annual lantern festival. Held every August, Chōchin (paper) lanterns are lit to remember loved ones and guide their spirits. Designers, DRAW Studio created a minimal structure that mixes material elements like white opal glass, American walnut, silk and burnished bronze. The result is a piece that is rich in meaning and still feels clean and contemporary.
