BEYOND RETRO LAUNCHES SUSTAINABLE 'HOUSE OF SKI' POP-UP
Ski style has returned this season and, despite the popularity of moon boots, fluffy bucket hats, and futuristic eyewear, it's safe to say it's not going anywhere anytime soon. To assist us in finding what we're looking for, the recycled clothing retailer Beyond Retro has opened its sustainable House of Ski pop-up.
Many of us feel compelled to choose newness over vintage and used apparel, as is typical with most fads, but that doesn't have to be the case. The newest London location of Beyond Retro's skiwear pop-up is now an alpine-themed environment with hundreds of previously owned items searching for new homes.
Additionally, the company has partnered with London-based seamstress Annie Phillips to provide secondhand consumers some additional travel inspiration through her new skiwear edit. The brand's website now has a selection of antique skis that customers can browse in addition to the new pop-up store, which will be restocked every week. Additionally, visitors to the pop-up will be able to return to the store after their vacations and replace their ski gear for something that is still in good condition by using the brand's exchange program.
Consumers can visit Beyond Retro's House of Ski through February 28.
