A new collection for Pre-Fall 2023 is being released by Karl Lagerfeld's eponymous company only days before the opening of the impending Karl Lagerfeld retrospective at the Met. The new line, which draws inspiration from Lagerfeld's famous drawings and enormous library, includes various Karl-isms including a crisp white collar, fingerless gloves, and dark sunglasses.

The previous several years have been devoted by KARL LAGERFELD's Design Director, Hun Kim, to celebrating Lagerfeld's legacy and recreating some of his most recognisable designs. The Ultimate Icon Collection, which combines the past, present, and future for this season, breathes fresh life into Lagerfeld's original silhouettes and adds to the public's remembrance of the adored designer.
