Instead of a typical runway display, Ralph Lauren's Fall Winter 2023–24 collection has been unveiled through a lookbook and showroom appointments. This collection featured both traditional tailoring and outlandish combinations, showcasing Lauren's ability to create an atmosphere and an unexpected blend of styles.

The classic chalk stripe suit was there, but Lauren also produced a puffer jacket in glen plaid and teamed a tweed jacket with distressed leather trousers and a western belt. On a black smoking jacket, he even employed beading to imitate the appearance of chalk stripes.

The entire collection reflected Lauren's unique sense of style, which frequently combines unorthodox elements. He added the worn-in look of well-loved leather to his evening clothing by fading the shoulders of a velvet jacket with crystal embellishments and the bodice of a flocked denim dress. Cowboy belts were used to embellish deep red and green silk gowns, uniting the collection's day and night elements.

While Lauren's designs may not have had a typical runway presentation this season, his talent for coming up with original combinations and classic pieces guarantees his status as one of the most important American fashion figures.
