As you all know, one of our biggest motives is to uplift others because we rise by lifting others according to the wonderful "Maya Angelou". Our favorite "Female Entrepreneur of the Year" is the one and only Kenya Moore.
Being an entrepreneur requires you to completely accept ambiguity and to feel at ease with frequent challenges. particularly if you have to go out and get money for your business. It is utterly illogical to choose this professional path because the chances of success are slim, yet most people who choose it succeed because of their unyielding confidence, laser-like concentration on delivering results, and tenacity.
One person who never gives up on her dream is Kenya Moore.

When we had the opportunity to interview the stunning Kenya Moore a few years ago, we asked her how she maintained her hair healthy, and I have to admit, her response was, to put it mildly, mind-blowing, she has always been consistent with her principles and passion when it comes to her growing brand and that is something I admire about her.
"Your hair is always complimented, it’s gorgeous! Can you please confirm that this is all your hair? How do you keep it so healthy? "
Yes, it’s all my hair! You can check my Instagram and videos online where I post my hair. I have figured out how to keep it healthy and long and I am launching my own hair care line soon called Moore Hair. It’s designed to make your natural hair healthier, longer, and stronger so that it grows longer if desired. I want women to feel good about the hair that is growing out of their heads and not feel as though they have to wear wigs, pieces, or extensions in order to look good. My hair care line has been my passion and I strongly believe hair is your crowning glory.
When asked about the ongoing debate within the black community about Natural hair vs. permed/woven hair and what she thought about women perming their hair or staying natural, her response was inspiring;
"I encourage women to grow their relaxers out but that is simply because chemicals weaken and permanently damage your hair. With that said, women should wear their hair how they see fit but know that you do not have to wear extensions if you want beautiful hair that is all yours."

Here is another reason she is our favorite entrepreneur - Kenya recently launched a Hair Spa and she commented via her Instagram page on why it is important to her ;
“I’ve always wanted to make people feel good about their hair. Hair is my passion!” she wrote. “I wanted this space years ago but the deal fell through and a year later it came back around! Now my dreams are coming to a reality.”
“I truly want to make people feel good about the experience they had when visiting a hair salon,” she continued, “which is why I wanted it to be a luxurious, safe place for you to relax and feel good and of course, achieve your hair goals and look amazing”
When we think of Kenya we are immediately reminded of this brilliant saying by Steve Jobs;
"Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary."
I have to say we are very jealous over here in the UK because I personally would love the opportunity to try out these products having read the beautiful and positive feedback from our in-house beauty experts, I would do anything to get my hands on these.
