Minuit's creative director, Laurie Arbellot, is back at it with her Spring Summer 2024 collection, which has a seductive yet no-nonsense design that perfectly captures the spirit of the modern tomboy. This collection celebrates the appeal of exposing a little flesh while covering it with large, boxy leather items, taking us on a trip through opposites. 

This collection is consistent with Laurie Arbellot's design philosophy, which is based on the notion that the fabric is her beginning point. The Minuit girl's style is defined by an unabashed attitude, a combination of texture and shape, and an outfit.

The collection of Minuit Spring Summer 2024 is distinguished by its startling contrast between barely-there dresses and separates and boxy, hefty leather items. Arbellot creates a striking garment that draws attention by skillfully combining an oversized white leather jacket with deep pockets, a shirt collar, and a crinkled finish. It embodies the look of a Minuit girl; virtually nude beneath her large jacket, it's a mix of bravado and vulnerability.

Arbellot has always had faith in the ability of texture to bring uniqueness and intrigue to her works. This collection introduces a new silhouette for the season with a long bustier dress adorned with a full moon form in white fil coupé jacquard. This contrast between opulent fabrics and understated cutting perfectly captures her ability to provide her audience a singular, sensuous experience.

The Minuit Spring Summer 2024 collection features the beloved eyelet cardigans from past collections. Deep purple hues like these stand out, especially when matched with silky skirts that have adjustable length tape and a side split. 

Arbellot also enhances the body's natural contours by using textured Italian silk cotton with a wavy design akin to the sponge. The clothing gains a tactile, sensuous character from this texture in addition to dimension.

The Minuit colour scheme for this season is mostly black and white, giving the collection a timeless and elegant setting. Arbellot, nevertheless, isn't hesitant to throw in some surprises, as shown by the metallic knits and pops of aubergine and orange that break up the monochrome design. These additions give the collection more life and individuality while making sure that every piece is distinctive in and of itself.
