Exclusive: Chloé Portraits Series By Creative Director Chemena Kamali.
Under the direction of Creative Director Chemena Kamali, Chloé explores its past, present, and future with the introduction of "Chloé Portraits." With the help of the ladies who, in Kamali's words, "effortlessly powerful, beautiful, free," personify the brand's tradition and ethos, this inaugural portrait series seeks to capture the essence of Chloé.
Filmmaker Frank Lebon and photographer David Sims, both well-known for their unique viewpoints, were expected to realise this idea in Paris. Jerry Hall, Jessica Miller, Natalia Vodianova, and Liya Kebede—figures from Chloé's past—are contrasted in the series with newcomers FeiFei Sun, Ornella Umutoni, and Kristine Lindseth.
The core of the production is this blending of generations, as seen via Sims's camera and Lebon's narrative. In addition, "Chloé Portraits" unveils a redesigned Chloé logo, laying the groundwork for the Winter 2024 collection, which is slated to debut on February 29th, 2024 at Paris Fashion Week.
With Gaby Aghion's founding of Chloé in 1952, upscale ready-to-wear was launched, celebrating a more free-spirited and genuine embodiment of femininity. Under Kamali's artistic direction, the Maison has maintained its pioneering character.
Kamali was named Creative Director in October 2023. She has a history that includes a Master of Arts in Fashion from Central Saint Martins and positions working with well-known designers like Chloé and Saint Laurent.
