With the release of the Church x Miu Miu spring-summer 2024 shoe line, the fashion scene is about to embrace a combination of legacy and current flair. For the autumn/winter 2023 season, this team builds on the success of their first collaboration by re-examining the classic Shanghai style, which was initially launched in 1929.

Photographer Lengua captures the campaign as it takes place in the tranquil setting of a verdant rural garden. Models Matilda Liedholm and Judith Shyambala are positioned on striped chairs that complement the collection's sophisticated style, creating a harmonious combination of preppy chic and casual elegance.

The collection this season is notable for its well-considered reworking of the dress shoe, a style that combines classic workmanship with a contemporary, new aesthetic. The shoes provide an homage to the past while being firmly grounded in the present thanks to its natural colour scheme, rounded toes, and unique buckle features.

The models' outfits of work jackets, midi-length skirts, and polo shirts—all designed by Lotta Volkova—complemented the shoes. It highlights how adaptable the collection is, making it appropriate for both professional and informal situations.

The campaign has a unified story behind the scenes thanks to Edward Quarmby's creative direction. In addition to carrying on the histories of both brands, The Church and Miu Miu's partnership comes just after the spring ready-to-wear campaign.
