Chono チョノ Fall Winter 2024-2025 collection lookbook.
On March 16, 2024, during Rakuten Fashion Week TOKYO, Chono debuted their Fall Winter 2024–2025 collection under the theme "MY STANDARD." The collection aimed to investigate the issue, "What is my standard?" in a world of fashion where there are countless options. It acknowledged that there might not be a single right answer but emphasised the value of constant research to identify one's own final standard
The collection, which includes components that speak to individual interests and tastes, gives off the vibe of embracing ordinary life without pretence. The careful thought that goes into creating exquisite looks is one noteworthy feature. A lightweight coat with a hoodie and a flared skirt are part of a set featuring fancy tweed, which is made from tulle tape and shiny threads. The ensemble combines casual comfort with elegance.
Playful touches are added by the designs seen in fabrics like taffeta and double weave, which are influenced by Oscar Wilde's short novel "The Happy Prince." The collection has a beautifully modest femininity yet having a strong luxury element with its exquisite dresses and enormous padded scarves.
It is encouraged to experiment boldly with vintage or classic styles. A unique tone is conveyed with dresses in monochrome contrast embellished with pearls and scalloped cuffs. Rather than using tulle or petticoats, feather-inspired jacquard tiered skirts provide a novel interpretation on classic shapes.
The quest of mannish designs is not lost on relaxed silhouettes, such as wide-legged trousers and double coats, which have a textured star pattern fabric that lends a charming touch. Additionally, standing collars add a touch of "coolness" to feminine outfits made of delicate transparent jacquard fabric.
