The summer 2024 campaign from Bottega Veneta is a vivid blend of whimsy and refinement. The fashion house emphasises images of exploration and adventure from the fashion and handbag company against the backdrop of Tokyo's kid-friendly parks.Creative director Matthieu Blazy uses the elegant features of the home to create the sculptural playground backdrops for the ad, which feature colourful animal sculptures, stone formations, and enormous mushrooms.
The documentary-style photography of Alec Soth is evident in each image in this series, which tells a tale where fantasy and reality collide. Featuring models Diane Chiu, Imaan Hammam, Lara Menezes, Awar Odhiang, Penelope Ternes, and Haojie Qi, the ad showcases essential summer clothing.Perched on a fanciful red mushroom sculpture, Penelope strikes a stance as striking as the trench coat she's wearing. Awar exudes confidence as she stands there, her vivid mint green clothing reflecting the playground's vibrancy. Haojie moves across the outlines of geometric playground steps, her outfit a symphony of stripes that expresses grace and fluidity.
