Chanel debuted her Métiers d'Art 2024/25 collection in Manchester in December of last year. The collection featured a lot of tweed, a material that has been associated with the company ever since its founder, Gabrielle "Coco" Chanel, showed the renowned tweed suit in 1925. Virginie Viard, the design director of this collection, carried on the tradition by highlighting the adaptability and timeless appeal of tweed.

Tweed was worn in a range of ways this season, with different colors, cuts, and patterns. The Manchester presentation was inspired by the pop culture and musical inventiveness of the 1960s, which resulted in a colorful and lively collection that emphasized the fabric's relevance and versatility.

The Chanel Métiers d'Art 2024–25 campaign, which was shot by renowned photographer Mikael Jansson, continues this spirit. Models Lulu Tenney, Loli-Bahia, and Alaato Jazyper, who all represent modern femininity and highlight the versatile possibilities of tweed, are featured in the campaign. The collection's fine features, such as the graphic lines of the suits and jackets and the strong tonal contrasts, are highlighted by the iconography, which is a combination of black and white and color diptychs.

Important items from the collection include an orange coat that goes with a matching purse, a lilac jacket with silk cuffs, and an apple-green jacket with braided trim. Every piece of clothing narrates the development of tweed in the Chanel collection, emphasizing how it still represents female empowerment and freedom today.
