Fashion designer Brunello Cucinelli is well known for his catwalk shows, which are visual feasts that complement the cuisine served. This custom was upheld at Pitti Uomo, where Cucinelli created a Spring Summer 2025 menswear collection that is unquestionably Cucinelli and refreshing by drawing influence from the simplicity of Italian cuisine.

Referring to the traditional three-ingredient pasta dish, "spaghetti cacio e pepe," Cucinelli clarified, "the purest expressions [of fashion] tend to have only a few fundamental elements." In his case, these components consisted of a foundation of traditional Cucinelli with a hint of Miami Vice and "The Great Gatsby" flair.
The end product is an eye-catching assortment. The traditional summery colors have disappeared, and Team Cucinelli has replaced them with a palette of papaya, grapefruit, and ginger. The tone is set with a long, two-button suit in a macro Prince of Wales check that is the color of papaya. Vibrant flashes of grapefruit and ginger piqué shirts contrast with cotton herringbone blazers. Woody, tobacco hues serve as earthy counterpoints, such as a suede lambskin tuxedo jacket with a shawl collar and flowing trench coats made of silk and cashmere. Lightweight huarache sandals finish the ensemble.
