Roberto Cavalli Resort 2025 collection Campaign

Roberto Cavalli creative director Fausto Puglisi made a big impression at Cannes this week by dressing in the flamboyant style of the company with model Natasha Poly. This coincides with the fashion industry witnessing a comeback of early 2000s Cavalli trends, as a result of young consumers being lured to the retro pieces.

This tendency is reflected in Puglisi's Resort 2025 collection, which offers a more subdued interpretation of Cavalli's glitzy style. The collection, which was inspired by the Y2K renaissance, includes sultry items like wide-leg trousers with animal print slashes, silky leotards, and thigh-grazing slips with zebra stripes.

Puglisi, however, remembers Cavalli's main audience. He offers ideas for women who are older but nevertheless embrace their inner glamazons. This chic yet daring taste is catered to with a striking rose printed pantsuit with a crinkled texture (a Cavalli trademark) and a graphic black and white zebra trench coat.

The final piece in the collection is a nod to current fashion, the cowboy hat, which was made popular not too long ago by Cavalli fan Beyoncé.
