Blumarine Spring Summer 2025 collection lookbook
Blumarine’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection heralds a new era for the brand, as it embarks on a creative journey under the leadership of Georgia-born designer David Koma, who will make his debut with the pre-fall line. While awaiting his visionary touch, the in-house design team has crafted this spring collection, inspired by the fluid grace of water and the ethereal beauty of Nick Knight’s blurred rose imagery.
This season's collection embraced a more refined interpretation of Blumarine's signature feminine aesthetic. Infused with a bohemian spirit, the aquatic theme brought a softer, more contemporary twist to the brand's traditionally girlish charm. Light, ethereal fabrics like chiffon and georgette played a central role in creating a sense of airiness and weightlessness. These delicate materials cascaded gracefully in voluminous, asymmetrical blouses adorned with flowing scarves, and in tiered, hand-pleated minidresses—ideal for strolling along sunlit beaches.
The color palette conjured the sun-kissed, sea-washed feel of garments dried in the warmth after a dip in the ocean. Floral appliqués on slip dresses mimicked seashells scattered along the shoreline, while Blumarine’s iconic leopard print was reinterpreted in a faded, washed-out version, giving rise to a new "aquatic leopard."
Blumarine’s Spring/Summer 2025 collection represents a graceful evolution of the brand’s romantic, feminine heritage, striking a delicate balance between ethereal lightness and modern structure.
