LoveShackFancy Spring Summer 2025 collection
In a chic, salon-style presentation, Rebecca Hessel Cohen unveiled LoveShackFancy's Spring Summer 2025 collection at the company's New York boutique. The brand, which is well-known for its intricately embroidered clothing, adopted a more understated strategy this season, favouring flowing, clean lines over voluminous embellishments.Models dressed in elegant gowns sang and danced during the event, highlighting the collection's tone and exhibiting the brand's characteristic romantic vibe. Hessel Cohen chose a more understated approach for this collection, which presented a novel perspective. "We had this private tour of [Christian] Dior’s atelier in his apartment in Paris, and I was inspired by the beauty of simple, delicate fabrics," she said. Her decision to forgo LoveShackFancy's customary elaborate detailing and instead let the materials and shapes speak for themselves was inspired by the trip.
The collection featured a lot of flowy gowns in gentle pastel colours, with floral and chiffon patterns taking front stage. Slip dresses with lace inserts kept the collection's more subdued vibe while adding a hint of romance.
Even if the amount of ornamentation was reduced overall, it was still used sparingly. The brand's skill in meticulous design was retained in a more concentrated and deliberate style in a white dress with flowery decals and sequins, as well as a nude gown with crystal accents.

LoveShackFancy's design language saw a sophisticated evolution in the SS25 collection, which put textiles and silhouettes front and centre and demonstrated the idea that sometimes less really is more.
