Models drifted out of the Schiaparelli performance and into the Parisian evening as nightfall enveloped Place Vendôme. 

Their zeal remained unabated even though the day's temperature had waned. They played and laughed, not wanting the moment to end. 

One stopped in front of the famous Vendôme Column under the glow of passing headlights, wearing a glittering gown that was a subdued homage to the surrealist tradition of the house.
