Berluti Fall Winter 2025-2026: 130 Years of Timeless Elegance
Berluti celebrates its 130th anniversary by presenting a Fall Winter 2025-2026 menswear collection that embodies the essence of quiet luxury, marrying its storied heritage with a modern minimalist ethos. Debuting at the Simone et Cino Del Duca Foundation during Paris Men’s Fashion Week, the collection showcased the brand’s commitment to meticulous craftsmanship and understated sophistication.
A live demonstration of Berluti’s signature patina technique—a hallmark since its inception—set the tone for the show. An artisan skillfully applied deep inky dye to leather, highlighting the season’s monochromatic focus. This dedication to craft extended to the footwear, with a curated selection of shoes in “50 shades of black.” The Alessandro oxford, a tribute to Berluti’s original 1895 design, was joined by contemporary styles such as the square-toed Mont Thabor and the Stellar sneaker, first introduced in 2019 by Kris Van Assche. The ready-to-wear collection paid homage to Berluti’s creative lineage, referencing archival designs by Alessandro Sartori, Haider Ackermann, and Van Assche. At its heart was the Forestière jacket, inspired by the 1947 design crafted for architect Le Corbusier. This versatile piece, blending the practicality of a hunting jacket with the elegance of a chore coat, featured in various luxurious fabrics, including double-faced cashmere, crimson suede, and midnight blue velvet—seamlessly transitioning from daywear to evening attire.Accessories reflected the same refined sensibility. The newly introduced Périple shoulder bag, made from Berluti’s supple Venezia leather, combined comfort with sophistication, emphasizing modern versatility.
South Korean star Lee Jun-ho made a discreet appearance, perfectly embodying the brand’s quiet elegance with his effortlessly refined style. His presence underscored Berluti’s relevance among a contemporary audience that values timeless design over ostentation. This anniversary collection reaffirms Berluti’s ability to innovate within its rich traditions. By focusing on texture, form, and detail, Berluti has crafted a celebration of understated opulence that honors its past while charting a thoughtful course for the future.
