Adeam Fall Winter 2025-2026: Redefining Power Dressing with Modern Elegance
For Fall 2025, Hanako Maeda redefined workwear with a fresh perspective, merging classic tailoring with contemporary design elements. Moving beyond the traditional power suit, she introduced refined yet fashion-forward updates—structured peacoats were elevated with neoprene hoods, black trousers featured faux-leather gaiters, and exaggerated pussy-bow blouses transformed into bold statement pieces. A tuxedo dress with a cascading ruffled collar added an element of theatrical elegance.
Drawing inspiration from Yves Saint Laurent’s Le Smoking jacket and Coco Chanel’s iconic tweed, Maeda infused the collection with her signature aesthetic. The standout Adeam double-lapel jacket appeared in a striking cherry red, styled with a voluminous skirt that pooled at the hem—an intentional nod to the symbolism of luck and strength in Asian cultures. Power dressing, both in a literal and symbolic sense, was at the heart of the collection, reflecting Maeda’s perspective on women's empowerment in today’s global landscape.
Some pieces pushed the boundaries of conventional office attire, such as a dress with a faux garter, embracing avant-garde styling. Yet, much of the collection remained effortlessly wearable, offering sophisticated wardrobe updates including a perfectly tailored wool midi skirt, an asymmetrical cotton dress shirt, and flowing silk maxi dresses in deep greens.
As return-to-office policies reshape professional wardrobes, Adeam’s latest collection offers a refined balance of structure and fluidity. The result is a modern interpretation of power dressing—polished, expressive, and designed for the evolving landscape of contemporary fashion.
