Anna Sui’s Fall Winter 2025-2026 collection radiated individuality in a season often dominated by similar designs. Drawing inspiration from 1930s screwball comedies, particularly Bringing Up Baby, Sui celebrated the eccentric style of iconic heiresses like Barbara Hutton, Doris Duke, and Peggy Guggenheim.

The collection blended nostalgic references with a modern twist, featuring floral lamé tea dresses and copper Fortuny-style pleats, reimagined with a contemporary thrift-store sensibility.

Maximalist energy surged through unexpected pairings, such as fluorescent Fair Isle knits with delicate green lace, lamé brocade with micro-stripes, and zigzag tweeds clashing with floral wallpaper prints. Leopard print, inspired by Bringing Up Baby’s pet leopard, was a striking motif throughout.
