Seoul-based designer HANNAH SHIN unveiled her Autumn/Winter 2025-26 collection at Seoul Fashion Week, captivating audiences with a mesmerizing fusion of past and future. 

Hosted at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP), the runway transformed into a cosmic dreamscape, as models walked in ethereal garments adorned with playful celestial details—glittering stars, meteor shower motifs, and delicate, flowing fabrics that mirrored the vastness of the night sky.

Titled “COSMOGONIE” (The Origin of the Universe), the collection drew inspiration from Walter Benjamin’s concept of Constellation, exploring how meaning and vitality emerge when individual elements are interconnected.

The designs embodied a harmonious blend of nostalgia and modernity, emphasizing that progress does not mean discarding the past but rather reinterpreting it through new connections.

The show’s notes carried a powerful message in today’s fast-evolving digital landscape:

"In an era where cutting-edge technologies such as AI quickly render older technologies obsolete, the message is clear: we should not discard the past, but rather seek to revive it by forming new connections—an active and value-driven effort toward renewal."
