The Garment FW25-26: Modernist Attire
For Fall Winter 2025-2026, The Garment unveils Modernist Attire, a collection inspired by the architectural legacy of Chandigarh, India—a city shaped by the modernist vision of Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret. Embracing their minimalist yet functional approach, the collection highlights raw materials, clean lines, and organic forms, seamlessly blending structure with softness.
Silhouettes reflect a delicate balance of masculine strength and feminine refinement, featuring tailored jackets in supple goat suede, fine-yarn mini sweaters, and precise detailing that enhances movement and ease.A warm, earthy palette of tan, acorn, butter, wine, and crisp white complements the use of natural textiles like wool, leather, and cotton, reinforcing the collection’s understated elegance.Presented at Nicolai Kunsthal, a venue deeply rooted in modernist ideals, the show was staged with 220 Arne Jacobsen Syver chairs and sculptures by contemporary artist Josefine Winding. This immersive setting underscored The Garment’s dedication to craftsmanship and the enduring beauty of minimalist design.
