Set against a confetti-strewn white stage at the Carreau du Temple, bathed in natural light, the presentation was a striking embodiment of optimism—a sentiment deeply rooted in the legacy of André Courrèges.

Drawing inspiration from Dan Colen’s confetti paintings, Di Felice sought to infuse color into an increasingly gray world, framing the collection as both a celebration and a reflection on the role of communal spaces. The show’s energy was palpable, as metallic confetti swirled through the air, propelled by a wind machine, mirroring the euphoria of nightclubs and raves—historic sanctuaries for self-expression and freedom.

The garments themselves carried this duality of revelry and protection. Twisting, streamer-like constructions ran through the collection, exemplified in the opening look: a loosely draped fringed shawl that appeared effortless but revealed masterful pattern-cutting. Survival gear aesthetics emerged in structured leather and technical outerwear, juxtaposed with ethereal elements like a stretch tulle turtleneck dress adorned with silver snap fasteners—a futuristic nod to body armor.
