HATRA FW25/26: WALKER – A Vision in Motion
Unveiling WALKER at Tokyo Fashion Week, HATRA’s Fall/Winter 2025-2026 collection is a study in movement, perception, and digital craftsmanship. Designer Keisuke Nagami merges traditional tailoring with cutting-edge technology, employing generative AI and 3D simulations to explore the concept of “fluctuation” in both form and meaning.
Flowing pleats define the collection’s silhouettes, with 3D-structured pants sculpted in CLO software that shift and expand with the wearer’s every step. Prints shimmer like light on soap bubbles, silk-screened onto sheer dresses, tops, and trousers to evoke an ethereal, ever-changing effect. Disrupting expectations, misaligned details—shirt collars fused to mesh cardigan sleeves, diamond-patterned dresses stretching and contracting—challenge the boundaries of conventional design.
Nagami’s fascination with fleeting moments manifests in “blinks” of imagery, like snapshots from an unending journey. Crystals, carried by models as symbolic Earth fragments, distort scale and perspective, reinforcing the collection’s dialogue between reality and illusion.
Through WALKER, HATRA transforms fashion into a visual and conceptual exploration—where garments pulse with movement, distort perception, and exist in a continuous state of transformation.
