Simorra SS25: The Art of Absence and Presence
Simorra’s Spring Summer 2025 collection at 080 Barcelona Fashion was a poetic meditation on space, balance, and the power of the unseen. Rooted in the Japanese philosophy of Ma, the collection embraced the beauty of negative space, where absence became as expressive as presence. This concept materialized through fluid transparencies, sculptural layering, and the deliberate play of volume, crafting garments that spoke in whispers rather than declarations.
Textures played a pivotal role in this narrative, with crinkled chiffon, geometric guipure, pleated organza, and intricately crafted denim lending a tactile depth to each piece. Three-dimensional embroidery added an element of quiet movement, reinforcing the collection’s delicate equilibrium between structure and fluidity. The palette unfolded like a painter’s study in contrast—soft Panna Cotta yellow, Cosmetic Pink, and Deep Emerald green harmonized with timeless shades of Midnight Blue, white, and black, evoking a serene yet sophisticated presence.
Through this refined interplay of fabric, form, and restraint, Simorra offered more than a collection—it presented a philosophy. Fashion became a language of subtlety, where the invisible carried weight, and the essence of elegance was found in the spaces between.
